“HOUSES OF AUTHORITY"

Part 2

This month I want to continue with how and why you make decisions. You need to consider whether your decisions have any effect on your God-given destiny. You have authority to make such quality decisions that can direct your life in a Godly pattern.

I have mentioned TWO HOUSES OF AUTHORITY so far: the Individual and the Family. Now our attention turns to the THIRD HOUSE OF AUTHORITY: THE LOCAL CHURCH.

Your church has a lot to do with unveiling God’s plan for your life. Your church has to do with your growth in the kingdom of God. The place you worship on a continual basis is your lifeline to the Spirit and can very well save you from making incorrect decisions.

NKJ Psalm 92:13 “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. The New Living Translation of this verse says: “For they are transplanted into the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.”

Your pastor is the head of the local church and is responsible for dispensing the TRUTH of God’s Word to you on a continuous basis. Your pastor is to point you to the Heavenly Father and teach you what God says about heaven and earth. The local church is to be able to render the message of God in a tangible, realistic and attainable fashion. The kingdom of God is a dimension that believers ought to operate in on a regular basis. The local church is the only place God ordained for you to be trained, equipped and empowered to do HIS work.

NKJ 1 Timothy 3:15 “but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

All Three houses must be in order to have peace.

IS YOUR HOUSE IN AUTHORITY?

The Bible teaches about making QUALITY DECISIONS.

NKJ Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

The formula for good success is according to this scripture:

Knowing and Doing the scriptures will always amount to success as God defines it! It all starts with a quality decision. Someone once said: “History is made whenever you make a decision.”

For now, remember to say the following aloud with conviction, “I’m believing to be at the Right Place, at the Right Time saying the Right Thing and the Right Thing to say is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
